Worry not, if your issue is with the printing quality, it’s not a big deal and you can even resolve it on your own. Before getting started with the troubleshooting process, try replacing the toner cartridge of the printer if you are having this issue with a single color only. If the issue is with all colours, try replacing the imaging unit, or fuser roll, main charge grid or transfer kit. Now use the below steps to diagnose the issue with your Xerox printer:

  • First of all, you need to check for messages on the replacing supplies of the front panel and then navigate to Supplies Information in the Help menu.
  • Press Ok and then print the supplies page. Keep it aside you for diagnosing and reference.
  •  Select the Help menu from the front panel and then navigate to the Printer Quality tab.
  • Select Menu and then scroll to the Help pages and then click on Menu again.

In case the issue is with one colour shade only which can be either including many vertical streaks, light vertical streaks or faded colour prints.

  • Navigate to Calibrate colours and then select Menu.
